Juan Carlos Tedesco currently teaches the seminar “Contemporary Educational Issues” as part of the Master’s in Education program at the Institute of Education at Universidad ORT Uruguay.
The interview begins with the question of what the fundamental problems of today’s education system are. In response, Tedesco says that the answer depends on defining what kind of society we want to build. He comments: “For example, if I want to build a more just society, the main problem in education is ensuring quality for all…”.
