Little Rebels (Little Rebels) aims to highlight women and their achievements throughout history, making them more relatable and showcasing the importance of their contributions. It is a collection of plush dolls—which also includes an app, books, and games—and is inspired by great women in history. Its primary goal is to educate and inspire new generations through play.
Spitalnik—a graduate of the Advertising and Digital Communication program at Universidad ORT Uruguaybegan negotiations with Macy’s in March 2022. The agreement was finalized in December, and the first order was for 1,000 Little Rebels dolls to stock the 19 stores and the website.

In addition, the brand was already featured in two museums in the United States (the Science Museum of Michigan and the Science Museum of Oklahoma) and has just signed agreements with four more: the Museum of Flight, WOW Children’s Museum, Discovery World, and Air Zoo. Furthermore, Little Rebels products are also set to be carried by Nordstrom, one of the most upscale retail chains in the United States.
As part of his short-term plans, Spitalnik will release two more books, a board game, and four new rebels:
- Gitanjali Rao, an American inventor, author, scientist, and STEM advocate.
- Dr. Gladys B. West, a mathematician known for her contributions to mathematical modeling of the Earth's shape and her work on the development of satellite geodesy (GPS) models.
- Ms. Opal Lee, an American activist and retired teacher known for her efforts to make Juneteenth a federally recognized holiday in the United States.
- Dr. Sylvia Earle, an American marine biologist, explorer, and author.
All part of a line ofeco-friendly dolls made from recycled plastic recovered from the ocean.
