Architect Mathias Klotz, dean of Diego Portales University in Chile, participated as a guest via Zoom in Project 4, a course focused on residential design.
During his presentation, Klotz showed the students the latest single-family and multi-family housing projects completed by his firm, Mathias Klotz Arquitectos. He also answered the students’ questions about project development, the materials used, and construction management.
Klotz has completed projects in Lebanon, Argentina, Uruguay, Spain, China, and the Dominican Republic. His work has been featured in numerous architecture magazines, and he has received international awards such as the Holcim Award (2011), the Green Good Design Award (2010), and the Borromino Award (2001), among others.
