Commitment to innovation and the community

The "Pensando en Acero" competition is more than just an academic competition. It represents a joint commitment by academia, industry, and government to inspire innovation and promote positive change in Uruguayan society.

This event serves as a reminder that architecture is not just about structures, but also about people: about how our creations can improve lives and entire communities.

This competition highlights the importance of using these technologies to create a built environment that is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also functional and accessible to everyone, regardless of their physical abilities.

One of the highlights of this competition is its focus on sustainability. In this regard, participants not only had to design a home for people with limited mobility, but they also had to consider its environmental impact.

Sustainable sustainable architecture has become a priority in today’s world, and this competition is a testament to the commitment of Universidad ORT Uruguay its partners to a greener, more conscious, and livable future.
