For the second time this year, Universidad ORT Uruguay its now-traditionalOpen House, an event where participants can engage in hands-on, interactive activities related to the degree programs offered by the institution’s schools. On Monday, September 3, 2018, starting at 2:00 p.m., the Centro and Pocitos campuses will host the sixth edition of this event, featuring 32 activities to help you choose your career path.
In this way, the university opens its doors and introduces students to professionals, allowing them to learn about and gain hands-on experience with various degree programs and providing them with new insights to make a more informed decision about their future. The event will also highlight aspects of university life, such as study abroad programs, sports activities, career counseling, and scholarships for studying abroad.
The activities will be primarily academic in nature but will also include experiential components, and they will foster an entrepreneurial spirit, leadership, teamwork, and dynamism.
In the School of Engineering, student projects from various degree programs will showcase what professionals in this field can accomplish across different areas.
Meanwhile, at the School of Communication and Design, students will become virtual sculptors using virtual reality software, and in one of the activities organized by the Communication Department, five graduates will share their stories and discuss the challenges they face in their professional lives.
The School of Business and Social Sciences, for its part, in addition to offering program-specific activities, will provide opportunities to explore topics such as leadership, entrepreneurship, motivation, and teamwork, as well as other essential tools for developing into successful professionals and entrepreneurs.
In the Architecture section, visitors are invited to explore the workings of this profession through testimonials, projects, and teamwork.
