On March 7, a tribute to the Mexican writer Octavio Paz was held at the National Library.
Professor Ana Solari, graduate program coordinator and faculty member at the School of Communication, was invited by the Mexican Embassy to participate in this tribute, during which she delivered a speech highlighting Octavio Paz’s impact on Latin American literature.
Also speaking at the tribute were former Uruguayan President Dr. Julio María Sanguinetti; Minister of Education and Culture Dr. Antonio Mercader; and writer Carlos Liscano.
