In 2001, he began pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Management and Administration at ORT University. In 2006, he began working as a Cost Analyst at SEG Ingeniería. He currently works as a Trade Marketing Analyst at the multinational company Kraft Foods Uruguay.
Alejo chose to study at ORT University because of its “academic reputation and faculty.” In 2000, he began pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering at the School of Engineering, but during his third semester, he decided to switch programs and chose to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Management and Administration.
“I found the program to be very interesting and enriching, both in terms of the course content and all the support services.” Alejo highlighted, among other things, the campus facilities, the location, and the faculty.
Throughout his studies, he formed a group of friends with whom he remains in touch. “The teaching methodology plays a big role in this, as it constantly encourages teamwork.”
In 2006, he began working as a Cost Analyst at SEG Ingeniería. “The job was recommended to me by the Graduate Affairs Office of the School of Business and Social Sciences.” He currently works at Kraft Foods. “I’m doing an internship that I also secured through the Graduate Affairs Office. My current position is Trade Marketing Analyst.”
Alejo wants to continue developing his skills, so he is considering pursuing a Master's degree in Business Administration in Spain.
He has very fond memories of his time there and believes that ORT is an institution “that strives to improve every day for the benefit of its students.”
