The group's first meeting took place on February 9, 2021, via Zoom, with Mag. Inés Tiscornia, Deputy Coordinator of Environmental Management, participating on behalf of Universidad ORT Uruguay.
On this occasion, the same group that worked on the technical foundations of the Comprehensive Waste Management Act in 2017 was convened; at that time, Tiscornia also participated as a representative of ORT.
