It is the only global association dedicated to education and research in art and design. Cumulus serves as a forum for networking and the exchange of knowledge and best practices, comprising more than 280 members from 57 countries.

The dean of the School of Communication and Design from the university, Eduardo Hipogrosso, is participating in the Cumulus conference “Around the Campfire: Resilience and Intelligence,” taking place from May 27 to June 1, 2019, in Rovaniemi, Finland, as well as in the general assembly, where ORT’s membership in this association was approved.
Regarding this new membership, Mr. Hipogrosso stated that “joining Cumulus means becoming part of the most prestigious and influential community of art, design, and media universities in the world.” He added: “It is the place where trends and issues related to the future of higher education in these disciplines are discussed.”
In this regard, the dean stated that “being part of Cumulus reinforces our commitment to education, our openness to the world, and our ability to create better opportunities for our students and graduates. For all these reasons, we envision a brighter future for our academic community at ORT’s School of Communication and Design.”
