Teachers were invited to participate through the high schools where they teach.
Two of these four workshops were designed for high school math teachers, with the aim of exploring the use of innovative tools for teaching mathematics in the classroom.
In addition, the School of Architecture at Universidad ORT Uruguay held a workshop titled “Teaching Mathematics: From Middle School to College” from July 23 to August 1, led by Architect Marcel Perchman.
Meanwhile, from July 30 to August 8, the Faculty of Administration and Social Sciences hosted the workshop “Mathematical Applications to Economics.”
The instructors for this workshop were Dr. Eduardo Siandra, Dr. Néstor Gandelman, Heber Francia, and Ricardo Hartmann.
