The schedule of visits was as follows:
- Skip Wednesday, October 9;
- Paysandú, Thursday, October 10;
- Cologne, Tuesday, October 15;
- Maldonado, Wednesday, October 16.
In each of the departments, informational sessions were held in the morning to present the educational program offered by Universidad ORT Uruguay, aimed at high school students from local schools.
In the afternoon, works by students from various degree programs at Universidad ORT Uruguay were exhibited at the CTC Centers.
At 7:30 p.m., lectures were held at the CTC Centers.
In the departments of Salto, Paysandú, and Colonia, a lecture titled "Strategic Market Planning in Changing Environments" was given by Gustavo Rubinsztejn, an engineer with an MBA from the Escuela Superior de Administración y Dirección de Empresas (ESADE). Rubinsztejn is a professor of marketing in the School of Administration and Social Sciences at Universidad ORT Uruguay.
During the conference, he discussed how changes in the business environment always present opportunities that companies must identify and evaluate.
Meanwhile, in Maldonado, Carlos Casares Balparda gave a lecture titled "How to Survive the Crisis Without Ceasing to Be a Family Business." Mr. Casares holds an MBA from the Institute of Advanced Business Studies at the Austral University of Argentina. In the academic sphere, he is a professor of Family Business at Universidad ORT Uruguay.
At the conference, he spoke about strategic thinking in family businesses during times of crisis.
