Articles by faculty members were accepted for presentation at the “10th International Symposium on Spatial Accuracy Assessment in Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences”

The articles “Visibility Analysis and DEM Uncertainty Propagation” by María Victoria Álvarez, a professor in the School of Engineering, “On the Interpolation Algorithm Ranking” by Dr. Carlos López Vázquez, a professor of Geomatics and Director of the university’s LatinGEO laboratory in collaboration with the Military Geographic Service, and “Analysis of uncertainty in wildfire risks,” by Marcos Silveira Antelo, a Database instructor and researcher at the LatinGEO laboratory, were accepted for presentation at the “10th International Symposium on Spatial Accuracy Assessment in Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences.” The event, organized by the International Spatial Accuracy Research Association, will take place from July 10 to 13, 2012, in Florianópolis.
