Participation in the 5th Ibero-American Design Biennial

Teachers, graduates, and students were selected by Uruguay to participate in the 5th Ibero-American Design Biennial, which will take place from November 21 to 25, 2016, in Madrid.

Industrial/Product Design Department

  • Elemento Company. Design and Innovation by Nicolás Noblia, a graduate of the Bachelor’s program in Industrial Design, and Pablo D’Angelo, M.A., a professor in the program.
  • Claro Studio, founded by Victoria Scola, a student in the Bachelor of Industrial Design program, and Julián San Martín, a graduate of the program.
  • Izzi + Associates, led by Maximiliano Izzi, a professor in the Industrial Design program, and Andrés Espina Vázquez, a student in the program.

Graphic Design and Visual Communication Department

  • Atolón de Mororoa, a company founded by Zelmar Borrás, a graduate of the Bachelor’s program in Graphic Design, and Juan Andrés Amodio, Antonio Carrau, Diego Fernández Mañay, and Diego Prestes, who are currently enrolled in the program.
  • Fabián Bicco Bernal and Gabriel Benderski, graduates of the Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, and Santiago Bicco, a student in the Bachelor’s Degree in Audiovisual Communication.
  • Coralia Studio by María Jimena Panzera, a graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design.
