The poster, titled“In-silico analysis of cytosine deaminases and its substrate 5-fluorocytosine prodrug,”was recognized as one of the best at the conference. The event took place in Montevideo from November 26 to 30.
The work was carried out in collaboration with Beatriz Torres-Herrero, M.Sc., a researcher at the Institute of Nanoscience and Materials of Aragon (INMA, CSIC-UNIZAR) in Zaragoza, Spain; Dr. Valeria Grazú, principal research scientist at INMA, CSIC-UNIZAR; Dr. Margot Paulino, full professor at the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of the Republic; Dr. Cecilia Ortiz, associate professor of Protein Technology at the ORT Biotechnology Laboratory; and Dr. Lorena Betancor, professor of Protein Technology at the same laboratory.
