ORT's graduate programs will offer dual degrees with Florida International University

The School of Business and Social Sciences at Universidad ORT Uruguay an agreement with the Chapman Graduate School of Business at Florida International University to offer dual degrees for eight of its graduate programs.
Dual Degree Agreement with Florida International University

Under this agreement, dated September 8, 2020, students who have earned between 9 and 15 credits and graduates from the past two years may transfer their earned credits to programs at Florida International University (FIU), allowing them to complete the remaining credits—in accordance with the requirements of the Chapman program they choose—to earn a degree from both universities.

The graduate programs offered by ORT’s School of Management and Social Sciences that are covered by this agreement are the Master of Business Administration – MBA, the EMBA (part-time Executive MBA), the Master’s in Financial Management, the Master’s in Human Resources Management, the Master’s in Accounting and Finance, the Master’s in Taxation and Accounting Standards – IFRS, the Specialization Diploma in Marketing Management, and the Specialization Diploma in Business Analytics.

In addition, students at ORT’s Graduate School of Business can participate in short-term exchange programs at FIU without needing to earn credits toward a dual degree.

In addition, as part of the elective courses in their graduate programs at ORT, students have the opportunity to take online courses offered through Florida International University’s programs.
