These graduate programs were ranked among the best in the region by the Eduniversal Best Masters Ranking

The School of Management and Social Sciences was the only business school in Uruguay to be recognized as an Excellent Business School.

Seven master's programs in the School of Management and Social Sciences were ranked among the best in the region by the Eduniversal Best Masters Ranking in its 2017/2018 edition.

The most notable graduate programs were:

  • The Master's in Taxation and Accounting Standards – IFRS ranked 8th in the region;
  • The Master's in Human Resources Management ranked 13th in the region;
  • The Master's in Economics and the Specialization Diploma in Economics ranked 14th in the region;
  • The Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Management and Strategy ranked 17th in the region;
  • The Master's in Financial Management ranked 18th globally;
  • the Master of Business Administration (MBA), which ranked 20th in the region;
  • The Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on agribusiness ranked 42nd worldwide.

In turn, the School of Business and Social Sciences was the only business school in Uruguay to be recognized as an Excellent Business School.

More than 1,000 institutions in 154 countries were evaluated to compile the ranking.

Three key factors were taken into account in compiling the ranking:

  • the program's reputation: this factor is based 50% on recruiters' opinions and 50% on the awards for excellence received by the faculty in business school rankings;
  • the salary from your first job;
  • the satisfaction of recent graduates.

The Eduniversal Best Masters Ranking aims to serve as a reference tool to help students and companies assess the quality of business schools and their programs.
