Gómez, who holds a Ph.D. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, has been a visiting professor at ORT’s Graduate School of Business since 2010. He has served as a researcher and consultant for more than 100 organizations and has taught at universities in Africa, the Americas, Asia, and Europe. He was the first and only dean from Latin America to be named “Dean of the Year” by the Academy of International Business.

He served as dean of the EGADE Business School at Tecnológico de Monterrey for more than 20 years and of the School of Business at the University of San Diego until July 1, where he is a professor of management.

He has been a regular visiting professor in the ORT MBA program for the past nine years, where he teaches the course “Global Business Models: Design for Impeccable Execution.” Since 2017, he has served on the MBA Advisory Board.

Noonan, who holds a Ph.D. from Harvard University, is currently professor emeritus at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, where he previously served as associate dean and director of MBA programs.

He is a visiting professor at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business for its MBA programs. He was a professor at Harvard Business School and a visiting professor at several universities, including Aalto University in Helsinki, ESAN in Lima, and the Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá.

He has been a regular visiting professor at the ORT Graduate School since 2005, where he teaches Structured Problem Solving and Persuasive Communication. He has served as a consultant for companies such as Microsoft, The New York Daily News, Merrill Lynch, and Greenpeace.

Each of them received recognition from the dean of the School of Management and Social Sciences, Dr. Gaston J. Labadie, not only for the quality of their teaching but also for their ongoing contributions and commitment to the development of the Graduate School—which is precisely what this new award aims to highlight—honoring them for their distinguished status as members of the entire faculty and teaching staff.
