There, he held meetings with Prof. Colin Barrow, with whom he is co-supervising the doctoral thesis of Florencia Pirotti, an ORT graduate in Biotechnology Engineering and a member of the university’s Protein Technology research group within the Biotechnology department.
During his stay, he also led a seminar titled “Biocatalyst Immobilization for the Improvement of Biotransformations” at Deakin University’s School of Life and Environmental Sciences, and visited the facilities of the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization, a scientific and industrial research institution
