Students in the following programs— Software Analyst, Systems Engineering, Electronics Engineering, and Bachelor of Systems Science—find this fair an opportunity to connect with companies and complete their final projects based on real-world needs.
The following companies and startups participated in this event, held on March 20, 2019: Divino S.A., New Age Data, Sonda Uruguay S.A., Lifetime Georgia (U.S.), AGESIC, Boxes, AdHenia, and Mi Vestidor.
Both Dr. Martín Solari, associate professor of Software Engineering, and Victoria González, B.A., assistant undergraduate coordinator, agree that collaboration between academia and industry allows students to engage with real-world needs and develop innovative projects.
The Fair is a joint effort by the Software Factory Laboratory, the academic coordinators of the Software Analyst and Information Technology Analyst programs, and the faculty’s Graduate Affairs Office.
