
The LISTO Project (Latin American and European Cooperation on Innovation and Entrepreneurship), co-funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ Program, brings together 10 universities from Europe and Latin America. Universidad ORT Uruguay as a full member through its Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) and the Academic Projects Coordination Office.
To wrap up the program, three free webinars will be held via Zoom in English:
Webinar 1: September 23, 2020 – 10:00 a.m. (duration: 75 minutes)
“Accelerating Innovation Through University-Industry Collaboration”
This webinar will present the results of the implementation of the AIMday method—a tool for fostering collaboration between researchers and businesses—at the seven Latin American partner universities. It will also feature the official launch of the e-book *University-Industry Cooperation in Latin America: Lessons Learned from the Implementation of the AIMday Methodology* (available in English, Portuguese, and Spanish). In addition, the role of collaboration during the COVID-19 pandemic will be highlighted.
Webinar 2: September 30, 2020 – 10:00 a.m. (duration: 90 minutes)
“Developing an International Virtual Classroom”
This second webinar will share insights into the co-creation process of the LISTO IVC course “Entrepreneurial Solutions in Innovative Global Networks,” including advice from faculty members and testimonials from students. In addition, a panel discussion on the future of virtual exchange in higher education will be held, featuring Sarah Guth (President of UNIcollaboration) and María Leonor Alves Maia (President of the Brazilian Association for International Education). The Manual for the Entrepreneurial Virtual Classroom: An Interdisciplinary Approach to European and Latin American Collaboration will also be presented.
Webinar 3: October 7, 2020 – 10:00 a.m. (duration: 75 minutes)
“Strengthening the Entrepreneurial Spirit at Universities”
The upcoming webinar will present the approach used by the LISTO consortium to analyze the entrepreneurial strategies of partner universities and introduce a model (Mesavar) for developing strategies to promote entrepreneurship and innovation. The webinar will also present the LISTO Toolkit for Entrepreneurial Universities, which includes tips and recommendations, as well as examples of strategies used by LISTO universities to strengthen their entrepreneurial vision.
The goal of the project is to share best practices in university-industry partnerships, promote international collaboration in online entrepreneurship education, and strengthen the culture of entrepreneurship.
Coordinated by the Internationalization Division at Uppsala University, the project brings together 3 universities in Europe and 7 in Latin America to strengthen the role of the Latin American partner universities as agents of sustainable growth and innovation in society.
Specifically, it is carried out by a consortium of three universities in Europe (Uppsala University (Sweden) (coordinator), the University of Valladolid (Spain), and the University of Groningen (Netherlands)); three universities in Brazil (Federal University of Pernambuco, Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, and University of São Paulo), two in Argentina (National University of Córdoba and National University of the Littoral), and two in Uruguay (Catholic University of Uruguay and Universidad ORT Uruguay).
