The Salão Design competition received 827 entries, including submissions from students and professionals from nine countries. On October 10, the 104 finalists were announced, representing Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay.
Among the local projects that made the cut, several stand out as having been created by current students and graduates of the university.
“Spaces in Transition Challenge” category (student division)
These projects were developed as part of the course "Industrial Design 3: Production Feasibility" in the fifth semester of the bachelor's degree program, under the supervision of professors Maximiliano Izzi and Pablo D'Angelo.

Finalists must submit their prototypes in January 2020 to the Brazilian city of Bento Gonçalves, where the awards ceremony will be held in March of that year.
