The National Development Corporation (CND) and Uruguay XXI have signed a collaboration agreement and are inviting companies in the architecture and engineering sectors to join the CND’s Registry of Suppliers for Construction, Projects, and Services.
This registry is designed to organize information and identify the capabilities of various teams regarding the use of BIM (Building Information Modeling).
Those interested in joining this registry can do so through the CND website.
Furthermore, as part of the National System for Productive Transformation and Competitiveness (Transforma Uruguay), a strategy for implementing BIM in Uruguay was established. Its goal is to increase digitization, productivity, competitiveness, and market transparency in the construction industry. It also aims to improve the management of public works projects at all stages and to promote exports of BIM-related services.
