Under the title “Reimagining Imagination to Communicate,” he approached the subject from an interdisciplinary perspective, drawing on visual arts, photojournalism and artistic photography, poetry, and his experience as a university professor and radio broadcaster in Concepción, Chile.
“The visitor left us some of his photographic materials so that we could continue working with them in our courses and analyze his iconic body of work through the lens of the semiotic theories covered in the semester.”
Benelli is a visual artist and poet who studied at the University of Concepción. He has also worked in playwriting and theater directing. He has taught at the University of San Sebastián and the University of Development in the journalism photography program, and he is also a radio broadcaster (producer and host of the program *Flashback* on Radio Universidad de Concepción).
