MEC Resolution for college students who have completed up to three high school courses

May 29, 2020
In light of the current health emergency resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, the Ministry of Education and Culture (MEC) issued Resolution 0359/020, which extends the deadline for new undergraduate students to pass any outstanding high school courses.
College students

This is a special resolution designed to address the challenges caused by the closure of high schools due to the health emergency. This resolution affects students in university and technical programs who began their studies with high school-level prerequisites:

- College or university students who have outstanding high school courses will have until the end of the 2020 academic year to pass them.
- Having outstanding high school courses will not prevent students from passing college courses during that period.

For its part, the Secondary Education Council (CES) issued a statement announcing that from June 15 to 30, 2020, exams will be administered to students who have up to three outstanding subjects remaining to complete high school.

If you have any questions, we encourage students affected by the situations described in this notice to contact the relevant academic department at our university.
