Salão Design Honors Six Uruguayan Designs

Among the 21 winning projects, the Fibra armchair and the Bezel tables stand out.

The remaining winning projects from the 21st edition ofSalão Design include 14 from Brazil and one from Argentina.

This year, the awards ceremony and exhibition of the winners will take place during the High Design - Home & Office Expo, from August 8 to 10, at the São Paulo Expo, as part of the DW! São Paulo Design Weekend program.

Designed by Rosina Secondi, Julián San Martín, Victoria Scola, and Daniel Appel (Estudio Claro). San Martín and Scola hold bachelor’s degrees in Industrial Design from Universidad ORT Uruguay.

The jury said: "A clever use of metal in this reinterpretation of traditional rattan armchairs."
