New startups joined the CIE

A total of six startups joined the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) in July 2016 to be developed: Mobilebox, Somos, Challenge, Oincs, Leliot, and Rimbos.

The projects are:

  • Mobilebox: designed to facilitate access to mobile devices for software development and testing. It is aimed at companies involved in development that maintain high security standards.
    Team members: Santiago Hernández, a systems engineering student; Mauro Carrero, an information technology analyst student; Pablo Guillama, a graduate in software engineering; and Homero Nisenbaum.
  • Somos: provides support services to families facing health-related challenges. Unlike other companies, it uses a web platform to facilitate the search for and selection of caregivers.
    Members: Gabriel Francolino, Mateo Laborde, and Sebastián Vanzzino, students pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Administration.
  • Challenge: proposes an online gaming and challenge platform based on competition among users through individual challenges and tournaments.
    Team members: Pablo Dulcini, an architecture student, and Lucas Methol.
  • Oincs: a collaborative mobile platform designed to keep users informed and alert about what is happening on the roads.
    Team members: Rafael Cavestany, a graduate in Web Design, and Marcelo Wilkorwsky.
  • Leliot: is a wireless communication platform for the Internet of Things (IoT). Its goal is to reduce the costs associated with implementing and deploying IoT solutions.
    Team members: Juan Tricanico, a telecommunications engineering graduate; Francisco Cabrera; Germán Capdehourat; Gastón Lieutier; and Martin Piñeyro.
  • Rimbos: is a mobile platform that lets users capture the emotions of special events, such as weddings or birthdays. It allows users to relive these events through a compilation of photos, videos, and GIFs taken before, during, and after the celebration.
    Team members: Marcelo Duarte, a graduate in Software Engineering.
