In October 2023, the Volume 14, Special Issue from Journal of Educational Research, under the theme “Current Contributions to Research from a Management Perspective.”
With the primary goal of promoting the dissemination of up-to-date research on educational management, this publication offers relevant perspectives from Uruguay, Chile, Brazil, Ecuador, and Europe.
Dr. Andrea Tejera Techera, academic coordinator of the Master’s in Educational Management and the Master’s in Trainer Education; Dr. Mariela Questa-Torterolo, associate academic coordinator of these graduate programs; and Dr. Claudia Cabrera Borges, faculty member and tutor at the Institute of Education, are the guest editors of this special issue.

“These contributions are highly significant not only for their findings, but also because they approach the subject from different territorial, educational, and thematic perspectives, and in some cases also highlight the connections between educational policy and broader state policies,” state the guest editors in the issue’s introduction.
They also believe that, in order to consolidate improvements in educational processes and outcomes, “the dissemination of this type of research is essential,” and therefore hope that the special issue “will contribute to the field of educational management.”
