This event will be conducted in English and is co-organized by Universidad ORT Uruguay under the agreement signed in 2020 with Virginia Commonwealth University.
The first panel, titled “Transformative Teacher Education in Different Contexts,” will take place on Thursday, May 27, and will feature Yaoying Xu, Gabriel Díaz Maggioli—a graduate-level instructor at the Institute of Education—Edith Yan, Rong Zhang, and Solange Aranha.
“English as a Foreign Language (EFL) Instruction/Subsequent Language Teaching” is the second panel, which will take place on Friday, May 28. The presenters for this session will be Luciana de Oliveira, Alsu Gilmetdinova, Rouzilya Yakhina, Wilder Escobar, Suzi Cavalari, and Robyn Bray.
