René Fuentes, a professor in the writing department at the School of Communication, published two of his books on December 10, 2021, almost simultaneously in Berlin (Germany) and Miami (United States): *Los mares que me nombran. Collected Poetry (1995–2020), Berlin: Ilíada Ediciones, and Pieces to Repair a Trill. Collected Plays,Miami: Primigenios Editores.
In addition, the book *Líneas quebradas. Escaleras de Uruguay* was published by Leo Barizzoni, a photographer and professor at the School of Communication, in collaboration with journalist Carolina Villamonte. The book features 30 staircases located throughout Uruguay, with the aim of bringing this architectural element to the forefront.
