The event took place at the National University of La Plata.
The main objective of the meeting was to present UDUAL’s action plan for the 2011–2013 period to affiliated and non-affiliated universities in the Southern Cone, to report on its progress, and to discuss the region’s potential for implementing these initiatives, identifying those of greatest relevance.
The main themes of the discussion are university autonomy, internationalization and academic mobility, and the impact of internationalization on higher education in the region and on regional academic networks.
