Dr. Gabriel Goldman, speaking on behalf of the contest organizers, noted that "the support provided by ORT and Charlotte was not a mere coincidence or chance occurrence, but rather a natural corollary of two of the causes that shaped their thinking and work: education and the remembrance of the Shoah (the Holocaust of the Jewish people)."
Goldman explained that the director general, who passed away in February 2024, "embodies the message of hope that this event aims to convey," since "despite having suffered its consequences, she never saw herself as a victim of the Shoah, but rather as a bearer of a message of light and brotherhood to make this a better world."
"Ten years ago, when this competition didn't exist," Goldman recalled, "we called Charlotte to ask ORT for space and support. The conversation lasted no more than five or ten minutes because the response was naturally positive, immediate, and enthusiastic. Since then, ORT's support has been unwavering and unconditional."
This tenth edition of the contest, dedicated to the memory of Dr. Nahum Bergstein, took place on August 25 in the auditorium of ORT’s Pocitos Campus, and its central theme was “The Holocaust: 85 Years Since the Invasion of Poland and the Outbreak of World War II.”

The winners of the contest were:
- Iara Schusman - Galileo Galilei Institute (first prize)
- Dafna Buszkaniec - English School (second prize)
- Noelia Banega - University of the Republic (third prize)
