Social and cultural changes throughout history have led to different ways of valuing the spaces in which we live, a shift reflected in the various design expressions of living spaces. At the dawn of the 21st century, the experience of living is valued more highly than the objects themselves.
The lecture by Architect Graziella Blengio, academic secretary of the School of Architecture at Universidad ORT Uruguay, took place on August 25, 2018, and encouraged attendees to understand the process through which contemporary architecture evolves and what the most valued aspects of the 21st-century living experience are.
Under the title "The Experience of Living," the Viasono Rambla space invited all interior design enthusiasts to share experiences and exchange ideas with architect Blengio during an event dedicated to living spaces.
