The lecture, which was the 19th in the 2023 lecture series, aimed to analyze the current geopolitical situation in Europe and was delivered in English.
The keynote speaker was Dr. Martin Riegl, Associate Professor of Political Science and Academic Coordinator of the Geopolitical Studies program at the Institute of Political Studies, Faculty of Social Sciencesat Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic.
Speaker Dr. Riegl discussed the historical development of the European Union’s Common Security and Defense Policy, EU-NATO cooperation, and Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, along with their respective impacts on the continent.
The conference, which was held virtually via an online livestream, was attended by 70 students.
