The peer-reviewed journal of the School of Communication and Design InMediaciones de la Comunicación has been accepted into the European Reference Index for the Humanities and Social Sciences (ERIH PLUS), a European index of academic journals.
The journal aims to publish original, unpublished articles and to disseminate theoretical and research work in the field of the social sciences, with a particular focus on communication and related disciplines, as well as processes of social mediatization and the study of media phenomena. The content is intended for researchers, faculty members, and undergraduate and graduate students.
Articles are first selected by the editorial board and then peer-reviewed using a double-blind process involving external reviewers.
The journal has an open-access policy, accepts submissions in Spanish, English, or Portuguese, and authors are not charged any fees for the processing and submission of articles to the journal. It is published biannually and is available in both digital and print formats, thereby complying with international standards.
The latest issue of *Inmediaciones de la Comunicación* was published in late June and was titled “Trends and Challenges in Organizational Communication: Crisis, Reputation, and Relationship Management.”
