The Carolan Fund promotes an entrepreneurial culture and the development of startups. Its goal is to help entrepreneurs successfully bring their ideas to market by providing them with funding, training, and mentoring.
As part of this training program, a Market Research workshop is currently being held via Zoom. The workshop is led by Dinorah Margounato, M.A., associate academic coordinator of marketing at Universidad ORT Uruguay, and Dr. Gustavo Rubinsztejn, academic coordinator of marketing at ORT. A total of 80 entrepreneurs are participating.
At the end of the process, five startups will be selected, each of which will receive a prize of $5,000. In addition, they will receive support from CIE mentors to conduct market research and move forward with validating their business proposals. A second round of the Fund will be held in the second half of the year, during which another five startups will be selected.
The CRI is a private foundation in the United States founded by Dr. Geraldine Fennell, who was a passionate advocate of marketing in both the business and academic worlds.
