Interior Designer Hassen Balut, Founding Director of the Firm Hassen Balut Interior Architecture, who specializes in interior design and has a presence in Argentina and Uruguay. He has designed hotels and commercial spaces such as the Serena Hotel (Punta del Este and Buenos Aires), Árbol (José Ignacio), Oliva Hotel (Montevideo), the Boca Chica Complex (Punta del Este), Calandra Store (Argentina), and Mercado Puerto (Punta del Este), among others.
Architect Gustavo Bardavid, Director of Bardavid Studio, which specializes in commercial architecture and brand identity (Brand Architecture). He is an architect specializing in lighting design and temporary architecture. He was a member of the Urban Lighting Department at the Polytechnic School of Catalonia (Spain). He has worked in commercial architecture and brand identity for companies such as Indian Emporium, OMM, Trommpo, Maison C, Philip Morris, and Paulatino Restaurant, among others. He designed the ambiance for the event “Ronda de Mujeres en Montevideo y Nueva York” (2014). He received the “2012 ADDIP (Association of Professional Interior Decorators and Designers) Award for Excellence” in the “Best Innovation in Design” category for Local Magma (Punta Carretas Shopping).
Industrial Designer Agustín Menini, Founding Partner of Menini Nicola, a studio specializing in furniture and home goods design. He is a Founding Member of the Uruguayan Chamber of Design. He won first prize in the competition Salao Design MOVELSUL 2014 (Brazil) in the "Industry" category for the Birdcage line and two honorable mentions in the Salao Design MOVELSUL 2008 for his CHATO and GUGA products. He won first prize in the 2010 Mercosur Furniture Design and Productive Integration Competition with his MONTEVÍ line. In 2010, he was one of those selected to represent the country at the “2nd Ibero-American Design Biennial” (Madrid) in the “Industrial/Product” category with a chair from the MONTEVÍ line.
