September 13, 2018
José Pedro Gioscia, a graduate of the Bachelor’s Program in Animation and Video Games, was invited for the second time by UNESCO to present his game *Public Space* at the first Partners’ Forum, an international project funding forum. The event took place in Paris on September 11 and 12, 2018.

The purpose of the event was to raise awareness about voluntary contributions to UNESCO and to encourage new support and commitments to its programs. State representatives, multilateral organizations, United Nations agencies, and members of the private sector participated in the forum.

Public Space is a video game developed as part of a final-year project, supervised by Dr. Gonzalo Frasca, professor of Video Games in the School of Communication and Design.

In 2015, the game won first prize in the National Video Game Competition in the Education and Social Inclusion category. In addition, in 2016, it was one of the five winning projects in the regional “Estamos Comprometidos” competition, held in Buenos Aires.
