Maida Moubayed is a teacher, filmmaker, and audiovisual producer. In addition, she has been teaching courses in screenwriting and television production at Universidad ORT Uruguay 1999.
The Screenwriting Workshop is designed for professionals from other fields, students of audiovisual arts, or anyone with experience and a passion for writing.
The goal is to stimulate the creative process so that students can develop their own stories.
The workshop program includes practical exercises and film analysis, as well as instruction on the narrative structures of screenplays.
The final assessment will consist of writing screenplays for short films, which will be entered into a contest. The best screenplay will be selected by a jury composed of members of the Audiovisual Department.
In addition, the winning screenplay will be filmed by graduates of the audiovisual programs at Universidad ORT Uruguay.
