The World ORT National Directors' Forum took place from June 9 to 12 at Columbia University in New York.
On this occasion, the Director General, Prof. Charlotte de Grünberg, participated in the panel discussion titled "Introduction to the Changing Political, Economic, and Social Realities in Countries Where ORT Operates, " alongside the directors of ORT Argentina, Brazil, Venezuela, the United States, Russia, the Baltic States, France, and Israel.
For his part, the rector, Dr. Jorge Grünberg, spoke on "E-learning issues and their implications for ORT’s global network, " alongside Dr. Ephraim Buhks, director of ORT Operations in the United States, and Prof. Vlad Lerner, director of ORT Russia and the Baltic States.
Also presented as part of the Forum’s program were: “Development of the international ORT youth movement and the international ORT student correspondents’ body and advisory council,” by Dr. Robert Singer, Director General of World ORT; “Countries with smaller ORT operations”; and “Strategic quality management within ORT’s educational system,” among other topics.
At the end of the first day of activities , there was a screening of the documentary "Despite Treblinka," produced by Universidad ORT Uruguay.
