The agreement states that cooperation between the parties may take the following forms:
- Exchange of information in the cultural, scientific, and technological fields;
- Mutual communication regarding scholarships and the organization of courses, conferences, seminars, and national and international congresses;
- Joint or coordinated implementation of research and development programs in the specific areas of responsibility of the Colonia Municipal Government;
- Organization of seminars and conferences on topics of national interest related to the City Government’s jurisdiction and ORT’s academic interests;
- Placement of students as interns.
The agreement was signed by the mayor of Colonia, Dr. Carlos Moreira, and the dean of the School of Engineering, Mario Fernández, Esq.
