María Laura Fernández Goñi, a professor at the School of Design, along with Juan Manuel Díaz, won first prize in the "Second Urban Art and Design Impact Competition—Public Poster Series/Montevideo Carnival," organized by Zona Diseño.

The awards ceremony took place on January 30 at the Teatro de Verano, in front of an audience of 5,000 people.

The series of posters is on display through early April on the streetlight poles located at Maldonado and Bvar. España, between Blanes and Pablo de María.
