Vaillant was elected chair of the Committee of Experts

In October 2021, Dr. Denise Vaillant, dean of the Institute of Education, was appointed chair of the Committee of Experts on the Application of the Recommendations concerning Teaching Personnel (CEART) of the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

In April 2021, Vaillant was reappointed to serve another term on the committee, which is composed of renowned international experts and is tasked with reviewing the documentation submitted by the ILO and UNESCO regarding complaints and proposals related to teachers’ working conditions worldwide.
