As of June 1, 2024, Dr. Esteban Zunino has been a member of the National System of Researchers (SNI). He was appointed as a Level I Researcher in the Social Sciences area, Communication and Media subarea.
Zunino, who has served as associate dean for academic affairs at the School of Communication since late 2023, holds a Ph.D. (2016) and a Master’s degree in Social and Human Sciences (2014) from the National University of Quilmes (Argentina), as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences (2010) from the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina).
has postdoctoral degree in Social Sciences (2017) from the National University of Córdoba (Argentina) and a specialization in Human Rights and Critical Legal Studies (2018) from the Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO).
As explained on its website, the National System of Researchers promotes “the classification and financial incentives for researchers, the generation of knowledge across all fields, and the strengthening and expansion of the national scientific community.”
