Visit by peer reviewers for the ARCU-SUR accreditation of the Systems Engineering program

As part of the ongoing accreditation process for the ARCU-SUR System for the Systems Engineering program, following the submission of the Self-Evaluation Report in May of this year, the school hosted a visit from a peer review committee composed of the following academics from October 18 to 20:
  • Dr. Joberto Martins (Brazil), full professor and coordinator of the Master’s Program in Systems and Computing at Universidade Salvador – UNIFACS, Bahia. International professor of graduate and undergraduate programs at the Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft des Saarlandes University of Applied Sciences, Germany.
  • Dr. Fabio Vargas (Colombia), Director of Research and professor at the School of Engineering at the Technological University of Antioquia in Medellín. Former dean of that school.
  • María Elena García, M.A. (Paraguay), professor and advisor for final undergraduate projects in Computer Engineering, and thesis advisor for the Master’s Program in Project Development, Evaluation, and Management at the National University of Asunción.

The purpose of the visit is to examine the various aspects of the program, hold meetings with members of the academic community, and tour the faculty’s facilities.
