The professor also visited the university alongside Sapir Efron, Consul and First Secretary of the Israeli Embassy in Montevideo, and met with the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Julio Fernández, Ph.D.; the Dean of the School of Engineering, Mario Fernández, Ph.D.; the Academic Coordinator of Biotechnology, Carlos Sanguinetti, M.Sc.; Carlos Sanguinetti; the coordinator of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Enrique Topolansky; and the coordinator of Academic Projects, Dr. Laura Diaz Arnesto.
During his visit, Enrique Topolansky attended a working breakfast hosted by Galit Ronen, Israel’s ambassador to Uruguay, to discuss university-industry collaboration strategies with the guest.
In addition, Rosana Fernández, coordinator of the CIE Pre-Incubator, attended a workshop led by Dr. Ini at the Office of Planning and Budget in the Executive Tower, which aimed to develop a national platform for knowledge transfer.
