Visiting Professors at the School of Management and Social Sciences

Dr. Jacqueline Mohr, Professor of Marketing at the University of Montana-Missoula (United States), and Dr. Robert Hoover, Professor of Marketing at Idaho State University, visited the School of Business and Social Sciences from October 1 to 11, 2012.

From October 1 to 5, Dr. Mohr taught the course “Technology Marketing” as part of the Master’s in Technology Business Management – ICT, while Dr. Hoover taught the course “International Marketing” from October 1 to 11 as part of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program.

In addition, Dr. Mohr delivered the lecture “Marketing of High-Tech Products and Innovations” as part of the “22nd Genexus Conference,” which took place from October 1 to 3 in Montevideo.

Prof. Mohr holds a Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MSc. in Marketing from Colorado State University ( Fort Collins, Colorado, United States).

Prof. Hoover holds a Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of Texas. He is a member of The Business Association of Latin American Studies (United States) and the Academy of International Business of the International Trade and Finance Association. He is a business consultant and researcher specializing in market segmentation.
