The "24 Hours of Innovation" event took place on May 24 and 25 at the Antel Telecommunications Tower.
The winning team was CaffaTeam, made up offirst-semester students from the Engineering and Systems Science programs at Universidad ORT Uruguay.
All members of the winning team are students in the Systems Architecture course, taught by Professor Ángel Caffa.

The T.I.M.M.I. project (Internet-Controlled Smart Terminal; project video) was created to address the following challenge: to introduce new robots and their applications with the aim of improving agricultural productivity. The proposal must take into account the responsible and efficient use of natural resources.
"24 Hours of Innovation 2016" is an international competition aimed at finding creative and innovative solutions to challenges posed by companies.
A total of 198 students, developers, and professionals from various fields participated, forming 27 teams that worked together for 24 hours.
The criteria for evaluating the projects were:
- originality or novelty of the idea
- the project's potential positive impact on society
- product life cycle analysis
- technological feasibility
- quality of the project presentation
