On Wednesday, July 28, 2021, the virtual awards ceremony for the 17th edition of the "Design Your Room" contest took place.
At this stage, the jury announced the first-place winner of the contest: Antonella Michelis, a 6th-grade student in the Mathematics and Design program, with her entry titled “Café.”
Second place was shared by Lucía Ferreira, creator of the "Design of My Dream Room" entry, and Chiara Bruno Figueroa, creator of the "New Age" entry.
The jury awarded special mentions to the following participants: Benjamín Álvarez, María Leindekar, and Aaron Josue Galarza.
Antonella Michelis received a full scholarship to study architecture or interior design at Universidad ORT Uruguay, while Lucía Ferreira and Chiara Bruno Figueroa were awarded a 50% discount to pursue one of those programs.
The six selected students received a full scholarship for the course on Architectural Projects Using BIM Methodology.
