Workshop: "Developing My Conflict Resolution Skills"

On March 27, 2014, the Faculty of Administration and Social Sciences hosted the workshop "Developing My Conflict Resolution Skills," led by Juan Carro Casabó, a facilitator of training programs on creativity, personal development, teamwork, leadership, decision-making, and nonviolent conflict resolution. The event was organized by the academic coordination team of the Master’s Program in Human Resources Management.

The workshop aimed to help participants recognize their skills, challenges, and commitments in order to identify areas for improvement in conflict resolution, which they can then translate into concepts and actions for their professional and personal lives.

- "I" messages vs. "you" messages
- Levels of intensity in conflict
- Styles of addressing conflict

Additionally, Mr. Carro Casabó led the "Difficult Conversations" workshop from March 24 to April 4 as part of the Specialization Diploma in Human Resources and the Master’s in Human Resources Management.

Carro Casabó holds a degree in Biochemistry and a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the Autonomous University of Querétaro (Mexico). He serves as a facilitator in training programs on creativity, personal development, teamwork, leadership, decision-making, and nonviolent conflict resolution at Caja Libertad, Servillantas de Querétaro, Protecto Partes, Santander,  Intersoftware, SEDESOL, the Querétaro Ministry of Health, AGROASEMEX, Matriclaz, the ITESM Campus Querétaro Business Incubator, Petrobras (Argentina), and Mi Banco (Peru), among other companies.
