On Monday, the 27th, the "Video Game Design Workshop" was held for the general public, with the aim of teaching some of the basics of video game design.
On September 28, the "Industry Workshop: Video Games—Development and Business" took place, aimed at specially invited business leaders and video game developers.
The purpose of this workshop was to foster an informal discussion about some of Joju Games' developments and to share business insights regarding the casual and online gaming market.
He also developed the "Video Games and Business Workshop," which aimed to teach some of the fundamentals of video game design and business models. The event was exclusively for students in the Bachelor’s programs in Multimedia Design and Animation and Video Games.
Juan Gril holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Electronic Media from the University of Illinois (Chicago). He runs the studio Joju Games, which produces casual games for the web, downloadable PC games, console games, and mobile games.
He was one of the first members of the Yahoo! Games team and worked as a producer for the PC downloadable games division and as a community manager for multiplayer games.
In his final year at Yahoo!, he rose to the position of director of Yahoo! Games Studios.
